AdiaX LLC ("AdiaX," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PetBet mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: email address and password (or sign-in credentials) when you register.
• Pet photos: images you upload for AI breed, age, and mood analysis, and for the Lost Pet Registry.
• Symptom descriptions: text you enter into Virtual Vet describing your pet's symptoms or behavior.
• Lost pet registry details: your pet's name, description, and your contact email, so a finder's match can reach you.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to PetBet Premium, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
• Communications: anything you send us directly, such as support requests.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data: how many analyses you've run, trial status, and basic app interaction events, used to enforce free-tier limits and improve the Service.
• Device and log information: device type, operating system, and crash/error logs, used for debugging and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To perform the AI analysis you request (breed, age, mood, and Virtual Vet guidance).
• To operate the Lost Pet Registry, including comparing a finder's photo against registered pets and notifying the registered owner by email.
• To create and maintain your account, including enforcing free-tier daily limits and trial periods.
• To process subscription payments and manage billing.
• To send you service-related emails (e.g., a match notification, a receipt, or a password reset).
• To maintain the security, stability, and integrity of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your pet photos or symptom descriptions for advertising purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers ("subprocessors") who help us run PetBet, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

• Anthropic (Claude API): processes pet photos and symptom text to generate the AI breed/age/mood analysis and Virtual Vet responses.
• Supabase: hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe: processes subscription payments. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the card data it collects directly.
• Resend: sends transactional emails, such as Lost Pet Registry match notifications.

If your pet is registered as lost and another user's photo is matched to your listing, we share your pet's name and your contact email with that finder so you can be reunited. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers, and we do not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AdiaX, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and pet photos for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and uploaded photos within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and correction: you can view and update your account information within the app.
• Deletion: you can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app's settings, or by contacting us at petbetapp@gmail.com.
• Marketing emails: you can opt out of any non-essential emails; you cannot opt out of essential service emails (such as a lost-pet match notification) while keeping an active account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example, the right to request a copy of your data, or to object to certain processing). Contact us at petbetapp@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

PetBet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at petbetapp@gmail.com so we can delete it.

8. International Users

PetBet is available to users in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and other regions. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using PetBet, you consent to this transfer and processing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of PetBet after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
